Tom Bao Pierce is from Saigon, Vietnam. After escaping Vietnam prior to its fall, he was somehow transplanted to the sweltering border town of Brownsville, Texas. Oblivious to sub-zero winter temperatures, he proceeded to attend the University of Michigan where he obtained a Bachelor’s in Science in 1992. After fleeing the communists in Vietnam, the heat in Texas and the blizzards in Michigan, Tom migrated to the great Northwest to attend the Seattle University School of Law.
Tom is a member of the Asian Bar Association of Washington, the King County Bar Association, Family Law Section of KCBA, and American Immigration Lawyers Association. Tom has been a Big Brother of King County volunteer for over 9 years. He has also participated in non-profit community boards in the International District.
Tom’s law practice emphasizes immigration law, general civil litigation, business development, and family law.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys training for triathlons, boxing, writing and other physically and mentally damaging activities.
